Town-to-Tea Garden Walk (6.5 km)
A pleasant, level walk on a red tarred pedestrian path with very slight slopes next to the road. The scenic route follows the Jonkershoek river’s flow through the mountains and lasts for about 3 hours. Light meals are served at the Tea Garden and the more adventurous can hire a mountain bike at the Tea Garden to explore the Plantation with. Transport will be arranged from the Tea Garden back to town.

 
Jonkershoek Picnic Circle Walk (4 km)
Walk commences at the gate of the nature reserve. This walk along plantation roads and paths offers beautiful mountain views. Halfway through the walk the group will enjoy a picnic on the banks of the Jonkershoek river before turning back to the entrance.
Jonkershoek Long Circle Walk (10 km)
Walk commences at the gate of the nature reserve and follows a level, circular dirt road alongside the river. This route in the narrow Jonkershoek Valley offers beautiful mountain scenery on either side, as well as undisturbed and unique Cape flora. The group will enjoy their picnic and rest where the road crosses the river at about the halfway mark. Protection against the sun (hat and lotion) is essential for this outing.
Berg Road Walks (2 - 4 km)
These dirt road walks with mild slopes take you through the foot hills of the Stellenbosch Mountain with its indigenous fynbos and offer panoramic views of the town and surrounding area.
